The Mooloolaba Marina welcomes all bona fide cruisers who wish to stay aboard their vessel during their time at the marina.
You are permitted to do so as many times as you like for a period of up to four months consecutively. At the conclusion of the four months you are required to depart the marina for a 30 day period however at the conclusion of the 30 days you are then welcome to return and live aboard your vessel for another four months.
The attractions of Mooloolaba's tourist district and the close proximity to world class beaches and seafood are a major draw card.
The friendly management team at the Mooloolaba Marina will supply local knowledge. If you want to hire a car, catch a bus or just want to know where are the best water holes, pop into the Marina Office and talk to one of the crew.
You do not need to join a Yacht Club or similar organisation, however all boats must have 3rd party insurance.
A recent major refurbishment has seen the marina extended to 265 floating berths, all with power, water and lighting. There are 16 multi-hull berths available up to 18 metres long.
Like to dine out? Mooloolaba is a diner's heaven with fresh seafood, direct from the trawler right at the end of the Spit. A short walk to Mooloolaba will see you enjoying Chinese, Mexican, Thai, Italian . . . every taste on the globe is available. After dinner, enjoy the nightlife at a bar or club, there are surf clubs and excellent bars dotted along the beaches right up the Sunshine Coast.

Getting About
Many of the attractions are within walking distance of the marina which is why it has the reputation for being the best located Marina in Australia. The beach is right across the road, 2 minutes walk away. The shops, clubs and restaurants are 10 minutes walk along an attractive coastal path.
If you do want to venture further afield you can get some wheels!
Coach services go to all the popular tourist attractions including Brisbane, Australia Zoo and the Eumundi markets.
Car hire can be arranged at the marina office.
Local bus services operate between Mooloolaba and the Maroochydore business centre.
